Petrified wood is the result of permineralization which turns
wood to stone, a process which takes place when wood becomes buried
under sediment or volcanic ash and is preserved due to lack of
oxygen.

Each table top is a totally unique slice of stone and will vary
in appearance from a light cream to a dark brown finish.
